I want a 24 hour truce during which there is no rape
This is one of Dworkin's speeches but the reason I mention it is because Stoltenberg told a story about Dworkin going to a college campus for a lecture and students had shown up with "I Want a 24 Hour Truce" t-shirts - which I think should definitely I will have to be making sometime soon.

How ironic - I just pulled "Transforming a Rape Culture" off my shelf with the intention of rereading "I Want a 24 Hour Truce" when I saw you all had linked to my blog for Blog to Raise Awareness About Sexual Violence day. I was planning on writing a post on Dworkin's essay tomorrow - and if you design those t-shirts I will definitely buy one!

Thanks. I went out to by the copies of Dworkin's work that I don't have and they have been pulled from all the major bookshops. Said they were being republished.....
I only found you site yesterday and thinks it great - blogsphere's own consciousness raising group. It will be really interesting to see what gets written on April 18th. Will let you know if I do anything about the t-shirts!
