I don't know why this is bothering me so much. Well, I do know why, I just can't seem to let it go. I think what annoys me the most is the Catherine Bennett seems incapable of stepping beyond the stereotype of quasi-feminist, quasi-sassy, don't-mind-sticking-it-to-other-women kind of female journalist. Funnily enough, her comment piece is titled 'Looking the Part' - another scathing article about how completely unskilled MP Margaret Beckett is at dressing well and also playing the strong, female politician. I'm sure Catherine Bennett can sleep well at night knowing she fits perfectly into her role.
